ALCO Controls Company is part of multinational group EMERSON Electric - its group Climate Technologies, also including Copeland compressor manufacturer. The main production program is production of components for refrigerating equipment - parts for control and protection of the cooling circuit.
ATE has created a control system for a machines testing the valves for refrigeration equipment. The machines are controlled by PLC Siemens Simatic S7-200. Control and displaying is performed by text Siemens OP7 operator panel.
ATE company also carried out a modernization of the cooling valves production line. The original control Siemens S5 series PLC was replaced by more modern PLC S7-400th The line was completed with a graphic panel showing the current line status and error messages.
